Privacy Policy
Picksy is a three-option polling and lightweight social app. We process information only as needed to provide features, keep people safe, and meet legal obligations.
1. Information we collect
When you register and use Picksy, we may process account details such as your email, account status, and agreement versions and timestamps; profiles, polls, options, votes, direct messages, and gifts that you choose to create; video-call connection, status, and duration metadata; device, app-version, request, and error logs; and reports, notes, evidence, and case status submitted through safety tools.
2. How we use information
We use this information to provide and maintain polls, messages, video calls, gifts, account controls, and safety tools; show relevant content; prevent harassment, fraud, and abuse; improve reliability; and send service notifications when you allow them.
3. Sharing and third-party services
Picksy uses backend storage, file services, crash reporting, and infrastructure services to operate the product. Providers may process information only as needed to provide those services and must follow appropriate data-protection duties. We do not sell personal information, and we do not place passwords, session tokens, or verification secrets in public content.
4. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, handle safety events, and meet legal obligations. Access controls, transport protection, least privilege, and deletion workflows reduce risk. No network transmission or storage method is absolutely secure.
5. Your choices and controls
You can manage notification preferences and profile visibility under Privacy and agreements in the app, and start an account deletion request under Account deletion. We process deletion after identity checks and as required by law. Records that must be retained are deleted or anonymised when the required period ends.
6. Children
Picksy does not provide its adult social features to people under 18. Do not register with someone else’s information or bypass age controls. If you believe a minor’s information was submitted, use the in-app report flow or contact us.
7. Changes
We update the version and date on this page when our processing or legal requirements change. Where required, material changes are shown in the app and we request consent.
